This research in Passo Fundo analyzes the number of sex workers advertising services on specific websites, focusing on ages, fees charged, and justifying the gradual growth of this number. The analysis reveals age diversity and significant variation in the fees charged. The study is justified by the need to understand the socioeconomic dynamics of this market. It concludes that growth is driven by the precariousness of the labor market and the search for better economic conditions, highlighting the urgency of public policies to protect and support these professionals.
